Come and sail Yorky’s VX One Tachyon, fresh from beating 30 and 40 footers around the track at Hamilton Island Race Week.

See what it is like to sail as fast as the wind downwind on a 19 foot long boat.

In her first outing Tachyon hit 24knots, which is faster than any other VX One has gone. We were pushing her with the kite up as the breeze was gusting 35knots! On the way home the breeze was hitting 40knots so we furled the jib and were comfortable sailing upwind back to the CYCA. Apart from having a great ride it is terrific to know that you can push the boat and she will stay in perfect working order.

Demonstration Day on Lake Macquarie this Long Weekend

Yorky is sailing in the Heaven Can Wait One Lap Dash on Lake Macquarie on Saturday the 29th September.

Tachyon will be taking those interested for demonstration sails on Sunday the 30th September. We will be picking people up from Belmont.
